The genesis of Spark Academy was born from a few simple truths: a child’s zip code nor socio-economic status should limit the quality of their education, the types of thinking and learning required from students in schools must prepare them for success in an ever-changing 21st century, and the crux of building a successful school model must hinge on improving the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being of the students as well as the teachers and leaders. Spark Academy will launch a 6th – 8th grade middle school within the city of St. Louis in the 2025 – 2026 school year.
